Cary Lions Honor Eagle Scouts
The Cary Lions Club continues to award a $100 donation for educational expenses to any Cary area students who have earned the level of Eagle Scout.
The most recent young man in Cary who has achieved this honor is Kyle Birr. Parents Cindy and Bob as well as sister Katie were guests at a recent Cary Lions meeting to acknowledge Kyle’s achievement as he received both the $100 donation and written accolades.
The mission of both organizations is based in community service. Lionism respects and embraces the skills required to become an Eagle Scout - doing good things, making friends, showing honor and integrity and caring about home and family. These actions build life-long character and the Cary Lions are pleased to acknowledge these special achievements.
